The founder's invitation

Twelve years in the making. Now we're inviting you to help build what's next.

I founded Parallax Web Services, Inc. in 2014, initially as a hosting and cloud services company.

By then, I'd already spent years building software and working with the web. Today, that experience adds up to more than 20 years in software development and 30 years in web development.

Modern generative AI wasn't around when Parallax began. We spent much of the intervening time in internal research and development, developing ideas, technology, infrastructure, and practical expertise while working with real businesses.

Then, in 2026, the tools changed.

Advances in AI-assisted engineering — especially OpenAI Codex and Anthropic Claude Code — dramatically accelerated our ability to design, implement, and iterate on sophisticated software. Work that historically depended on large teams and substantial capital became possible to approach with a far leaner operation.

That doesn't mean software builds itself. It means the experience, judgment, and infrastructure we've spent years developing can now move at a very different pace.

The machinery is already running. This campaign is about accelerating it.

Founder, Parallax Web Services, Inc.

Not another chatbot. The business operations AI.

We're building software that helps organizations coordinate people, AI agents, systems, workflows, and decisions — and turn ambitious ideas into operating businesses.

Slipstream

Work orchestration

Coordinate projects and execution across human and AI contributors. Structure work, assign responsibility, track progress, and bring the right judgment to each step.

Plexus

People and relationships

Connect people, teams, skills, organizations, and opportunities so that work can be organized around the people best positioned to deliver it.

Positronic

Data, compute, and integrations

Provide the connective foundations that help software, infrastructure, and intelligent systems work together.

Our growing ecosystem includes other products, tools, and services. Their maturity varies; some are used in real workflows, while others remain in active development. We intend to be clear about those differences rather than presenting every product as finished.

We are building the operating system for AI-native organizations — one working component at a time.

Built to move faster

Lean by design. Built to move faster.

We don't believe innovation should be reserved for companies with thousands of employees or billions of dollars in funding.

Parallax was built to stay nimble. We can make decisions quickly, challenge assumptions, apply AI where it actually helps, and concentrate our resources on products people can use.

We aren't claiming to be the fastest-growing AI company. We're deliberately building an organization designed to move faster without trading away judgment or accountability.

Move fast. Break the machine. Build something better.

Radical transparency

An ambitious promise. Public accountability from day one.

Our ambition is to build the world's first fully transparent AI company. We intend to earn that reputation through evidence, not a slogan.

Starting with the first outside contribution to this campaign, we pledge to publicly account for company expenditures — not merely publish occasional feel-good summaries of what was accomplished.

Our public ledger will explain what was spent, when, why, and how that spending relates to the work. It will distinguish contributions, payment fees, company expenditures, budget allocations, and remaining funds.

That includes founder-related payments. Owner compensation, reimbursements for documented earlier business expenditures, and any repayment of documented founder loans will be categorized and disclosed accurately rather than disguised as miscellaneous overhead.

We will protect personal information, payment details, security-sensitive data, and legitimate confidential information. Where an entry needs redaction, we intend to disclose the amount and general purpose alongside the reason for the redaction.

When something works, we'll show it. When something fails, we'll show that too. If our spending differs from the proposed budget, we'll say so and explain why.

Transparency shouldn't be a privilege reserved for the largest shareholder.

Everyone has a voice

A better company is built with the people who make it possible.

Customers. Contractors. Employees. Supporters. Funders. Shareholders.

All of these groups see different parts of the business. All of them have something valuable to contribute.

Our goal is to provide meaningful ways for people to suggest ideas, raise concerns, contribute to product priorities, and participate in community advisory votes.

We want a person's voice to matter because of their perspective, not the size of their check. One eligible person, one advisory vote — not one vote per dollar.

These votes are advisory, not legally binding corporate shareholder votes. They do not transfer board authority, fiduciary duties, ownership, or management control. We will explain what leadership decides and why.

Participation features will roll out as they're built. Until voting is available, we'll invite suggestions and share public responses and updates.

Help shape what comes next →

Built before the funding. Ready for the next chapter.

Parallax has been developed primarily through its founder's own time, resources, and work with real businesses.

This campaign isn't an equity sale or a venture capital round. It's an invitation to the people who know us — and to anyone who believes in our mission — to support the next stage of product development, reliability, transparency infrastructure, and launch.

Our proposed initial funding target is $25,000. We're highlighting $500 and $1,000 founding-supporter contributions, while welcoming much smaller amounts.

You don't have to be a venture capitalist. You don't have to know how every AI model or integration works. You should simply understand the nature of the contribution and want to help make the project possible.

This support does not buy a share of Parallax, create an investment account, promise repayment, or entitle anyone to future profits.

We're not asking you to buy into a promise of financial returns. We're inviting you to help build something — and hold us accountable for what we do with the support.

Founder compensation and prior expenses, disclosed plainly

I have invested substantial time and personal resources into building Parallax. Campaign proceeds may compensate the founder for work, reimburse documented company expenses previously paid personally, and fund continued development.

These are different kinds of payments, and our accounting and public reporting will treat them differently. A payment for work isn't the same as reimbursement of a specific prior expense, and repayment of a founder loan — if one exists — is different again.

We don't believe a founder should have to pretend to work for free to be worthy of support. We believe the community deserves to know when and why the founder is paid.

The public ledger will show actual expenditures as they occur, including related-party payments and deviations from the proposed allocation. Payment processing fees and refunds reduce the net cash available to operate.

Parallax Web Services, Inc. is a for-profit corporation. Contributions are not investments, charitable donations to a tax-exempt organization, loans, or purchases of equity. They confer no ownership, guaranteed product delivery, repayment rights, profit sharing, or financial returns. They are generally not charitable tax-deductible gifts. Read the Terms of Contribution and refund policy before contributing. Campaign terms and the refund policy are still being finalized; no money is collected.

Don't just take our word for it. Follow the money.

The ledger is our public commitment to accountability. We plan to publish the flow of community support into the company and the expenditures that follow.

For clarity, we'll distinguish:

  • Contributions received: Verified payments; separate gross contributions from refunds.
  • Fees and adjustments: Processing fees, refunds, reversals, and reconciliation adjustments.
  • Company expenditures: Dated and categorized outgoing funds, with amounts and understandable purposes.
  • Founder-related payments: Compensation, documented reimbursements, and any documented loan repayments, accurately classified.
  • Budget versus actual: How realized spending compares to the proposed funding allocation.

We will not publish private bank account details, payment credentials, personal contact information, or confidential customer material. We will explain redactions rather than make material amounts disappear.

Empty state: The campaign has not published any verified financial transactions yet. The ledger will populate with actual records after contributions begin. Check back for updates.

Awaiting verified records

No published transactions yet.

No campaign contributions or expenditures have been published yet. The public ledger will begin when the first contribution has been received, verified, and recorded. We won't display placeholder transactions or fictional progress.

Transactions may appear after processing and reconciliation. Public data may omit private or security-sensitive details without concealing the amount or general purpose of a payment.

Your voice counts. Your contribution doesn't buy control.

We want to hear from customers, employees, contractors, supporters, and shareholders alike.

Help prioritize features, suggest integrations, highlight gaps, and weigh in on the kinds of products and practices Parallax should pursue. When the advisory-voting system is ready, eligible participants will be able to vote on community proposals, with one vote per verified person rather than per dollar contributed.

These proposals and votes inform company leadership. They do not replace corporate governance, directors, shareholders' legal rights, or required approvals.

Community advisory polls are being developed. You can still send us feedback and follow progress updates.

Frequently asked questions

Understand the invitation.

Is this an investment?

No. This campaign is voluntary, non-investment crowdfunding to support development at a for-profit company. There are no shares, SAFEs, loan agreements, promised repayments, dividends, or rights to financial returns.

Is my contribution a tax-deductible charitable donation?

No. Parallax Web Services, Inc. is a for-profit corporation, not a tax-exempt charity. Please don't treat your contribution as a deductible charitable gift. Consult your own tax adviser about your circumstances.

Why does the budget include owner compensation and previous expenses?

Because Parallax has already required significant development work and expenses, much of it paid for or performed by the founder. Part of the campaign's proposed budget supports continued development and may compensate the founder or reimburse documented company expenses previously paid personally. We will disclose those payments and distinguish compensation from reimbursements and any separately documented loan repayments.

Does contributing give me a vote in the company?

No corporate voting or ownership rights come with contributions. We intend to offer community feedback and nonbinding advisory voting, without weighting votes by contribution size. Formal decisions remain with the authorized company leadership and governing bodies.

Does Parallax promise to publish every expenditure?

Our goal is to publicly account for company expenditures starting with the first outside contribution to this campaign. We intend to publish amounts, categories, dates, and purposes, including related-party payments, with narrowly defined redactions for privacy, security, and legitimate confidentiality. The ledger will distinguish actual records from estimates and proposals.

Are all Parallax products open source?

Our ambition includes an increasingly open software ecosystem, but different products and components have different licensing and release strategies. We won't claim every product is open source or production-ready. Product pages and repositories will identify what is publicly available.

What happens if the $25,000 goal isn't met?

Contributions are not open. Before we collect money, we will publish whether contributions are charged immediately, whether there is a deadline, how funds are handled if the goal is missed or the campaign is canceled, and what refunds may be available. The proposed goal and refund/retention policy are still being finalized. Registering interest makes no payment commitment.

Can I contribute anonymously?

We intend to support private contributions or optional public recognition where the approved payment provider permits it. Payment records may still require private identifying information for processing or legal/accounting compliance. We will not publish supporter names without affirmative consent.

When will the ledger and advisory voting be available?

The ledger and participation features will be introduced as they are implemented and verified. The page will identify what's live versus planned. We won't display simulated expenses or votes as though they were real.

Is GoFundYourself.vc handling my payment?

The initial campaign is hosted on Parallax's own website. GoFundYourself.vc is a related future reusable crowdfunding concept; it does not need to be operational for this first campaign. The actual payment provider will be disclosed at checkout once it is selected and approved.
