PARALLEL by PARALLAX

Builders. Buyers. Backers. One table.

  • Funders say what they will fund.
  • Buyers say what they will buy.
  • Founders make one direct ask.
  • Then everybody eats.

Most rooms make founders guess.

Demand speaks first.

This room declares its appetite before anyone makes an ask. Buyers, backers, and operators say what they can fund, buy, pilot, distribute, or introduce—and what they do not want pitched.

01

Reverse the pitch

The people with money, demand, distribution, and hard problems go first. No founder has to read the room blind.

02

One minute. One ask.

What are you building? What proves it? What do you need from this room? Sixty seconds. No deck.

03

Do something before dessert

Every guest leaves responsible for one offer, one connection, and one next action.

Who belongs at the table

Bring something the room can use.

Founders

Bring something real, evidence it moves, and the constraint you cannot clear alone.

Backers

State what you back, how you decide, and what should never reach your inbox.

Operators

Bring the live problem, the ugly constraint, and authority to move.

Buyers

Bring a budget, a pilot, a procurement path—or an honest no.

Builders

Show what you can ship when the signal is clear.

Executives

Bring judgment, decision rights, and scar tissue.

Connectors

Make one introduction you would stake your reputation on.

Select media

Cover the work. Leave the scene-making outside.

A seat is not a perk. Everyone in the room has a job. The table is curated for usefulness, not status.

How a session works

No panel. No pitch parade.

Demand speaks. Founders ask. The table works the problem. Dinner turns conversation into commitments.

Arrival

Show the work

Food is out. Demos are live. Meet the room before anyone asks for attention.

Reverse pitches

Say what you want

Funders name what they back. Buyers name the budget or pilot. Operators name the problem. Everybody names the no.

Founder asks

One minute. One ask.

What are you building? What proves it? What do you need? Sixty seconds; no deck.

Parallel tracks

Build · Operate · Back

Put the right people around one constraint. Leave it with an owner and a next move.

Dinner

Sit down. Stay put.

Family-style food. No table-hopping. No drive-by networking.

Commitments

Name the next move

One introduction. One offer. One action with an owner. Dessert follows.

Come hungry

The meal is the operating system.

People talk differently after the second ladle of gumbo. One table slows the room down long enough for trust, appetite, and a useful next move to show up.

Parallax in the room

This is the system in public.

PARALLEL creates the relationship. The Accelerator structures what deserves pursuit. Theta Labs installs executive leadership and builds the software. Parallax supplies the wider operating machinery. If a capability is experimental, we say so.

PARALLEL is a series of private working sessions and one-on-one meetings, each assembled around specific people and specific problems. Tables are scheduled as the right people come together. Tell us who you are, what you need, and what you can offer—we reach out when there is a table where you belong.

Questions, answered plainly

Before you ask.

Is this a conference or networking mixer?

No. There are no panels, expo floor, badge-scanning theater, or open-ended mingling. PARALLEL is a curated working session with a defined job for every guest.

Is this a pitch competition?

No. There are no judges, prizes, or ten-minute decks. Founders make concise asks and the room responds with useful next steps.

How do I get a seat?

Sessions are assembled by invitation. Request an invitation, tell us what you need and what you can offer, and we reach out when there is a table where you belong.

Can I participate without raising capital?

Yes. The table is also for people seeking customers, pilots, collaborators, specialist talent, or operating help.

What is a reverse pitch?

Funders, buyers, and operators explain what they want to fund, buy, pilot, distribute, or introduce—and what they do not want pitched.

Who produces PARALLEL?

PARALLEL is produced by Parallax Web Services.

The right people. The right problem. One table.

Come hungry. Leave accelerated.

Bring one real ask. Bring one useful offer. Be ready to own the next move.
